Century Quartet is a music duo that develops textured sound compositions in the electronic medium. The San Francisco-based new music group strives to out do itself with every improvised performance. In their oftentimes lengthy sonic explorations, Century Quartet has been known to utilize over nine different instruments between the two members, to create multiple layers and textures of sound and music. They have been in existence since August 1998.
